Installation

Install the desktop package and activate inside the app.

1. Get the desktop package

The current package names are:

• Windows: CAN_DBC_Utility_2.0.0_windows-setup.zip
• Linux DEB: CAN_DBC_Utility_2.0.0_amd64.deb
• Linux RPM: CAN_DBC_Utility-2.0.0-1.x86_64.rpm

2. Install the app

• On Windows, extract the ZIP package and run the app from the extracted folder.
• On Linux, install the DEB or RPM package that matches the target distribution.

3. Activate

Open the desktop app and enter the license key when prompted. Activation is handled inside the desktop app.

4. Open a DBC file

Start from the home screen and choose View DBC, Edit DBC, or a recently opened file.
